Reboot

So, forgive this please. I'm rebooting my social media presence, and this is mainly a test.
Fall is in full swing here. Our generator failed on start-up last storm, and we were without for four days. The new unit goes in on Tuesday, which is great news.
The kitties are having a great time with Fall hunting, the boy thrives, and a trip to the Grands is planned for mid-November. :)

Traipsing amongst the rocks at Marshall Point, and came across this character. What a gift. His name is Clyde, and he was the sweetest man. Fun evening. Never know who you're going to meet. :)

This 12 frame composition was a serendipitous image prompted by my young son.

We'd been out to a waterfront restaurant which was about to close for the season. On the short drive home he said 'can we go by the lighthouse?'

'Of course', I said, and this image is the result of that five minute turn to the right.

Ah, the little detours in life that make all the difference!

So sorry to hear of Jessye Norman's passing. I had the great honor of photographing her at a DC event in 2011.
What a wonderful presence. She will be missed.
