Chris is a fine art photographer based in mid-coast Maine, USA.
After graduation from Hallmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts he founded a commercial film processing lab and camera store in New Hampshire, later adding a second location in Vermont.
Notable clients included timber-frame guru and author Tedd Benson, wildlife and landscape calendar photographer Paul Rezendes, artist Richard Whitney, and film maker Ken Burns.
He went on to earn a teaching certificate from the University of Southern Maine and then taught photography and computer technology certification courses at the vocational high school and community college level, photographing weddings and sailing Penobscot Bay in the summertime.
After this he spent some time in Washington, DC as an event photographer working with Epocrates Health, Illinois Institute of Technology, Regal Cinemas, SWBC, and the US Department of State.
In 2016 he returned to living and sailing in Maine.
Chris' work has been exhibited at Open Aperture Gallery and the Newport Museum of Art in Newport, RI; and Kefauver Gallery in Damariscotta, ME.
He has been published in Communication Arts, Black&White, and Photographer's Forum annuals and is an occasional contributor to dearsusan.net.
In addition to teaching information technology certifications [MCSE, Cisco Academy, CompTIA], he has served as SysAdmin for a US defense agency; and held private sector positions of Director, VP, and chief Agile Scrum Product Owner in the global IT space.
